Ethernet or Token Ring

Saguaro Federal has mainframes for all of its banks and businesses. Should the company use the Ethernet or Token Ring protocol? Explain your choice. Why is this choice appropriate?

I believe Saguaro Federal's best option would be to use Ethernet. Saguaro Federal has banks and businesses meaning there are multiple locations. Ethernet uses the MAC layer of the OSI and is capable of transferring data at speeds of up to 1000 Mbps. In the OSI layer 2 (Data Link), packets are encoded and decoded, which makes for a more secure transfer of their client's information.
