Emperor Hadrian was the ruler of Rome during the Classical Period (117 to 138 AD). This era lasted from the year 800 BCE until the year of 500 CE when the Western Roman Empire fell to Germanic Barbarian Leader Odoacer who became the first Barbarian to rule in Rome. During the Classical period one of famous architectures went by the name of the Pantheon. After the commissioning of the Pantheon by Marcus Agrippa, Emperor Hadrian built the Pantheon around 126-128 AD on the site of an earlier structure that went by the same name (Pantheon).
