Effective leadership is one key element in the success of a group and virtually anyone can learn

to be an effective leader. Leaders are made, not born. In my current career in the Air force I have

experienced several different types of leaders. Some were effective while other needed improvement.

Not everyone is a leader. In an organization you have several different types of leaders. This will be

based on their actions. The several types of leaders are as follows: The telling leader, the selling leader,

the participating leader, and the delegating leader. Lets look at the first one the telling leader.
