The Trojan wars, beginning of the Olympics, introduction of coin currency, rise of the Greek and then Roman empires are just a few of the major events that occurred during the Classic time period of about 800 BCE 500 CE [ CITATION Adh19 \l 1033 ]. Great philosophers such as Socrates, Plato, and Aristotle who are all still studied to this day are from this time period. Philosophy, art, drama, and literature where re-thought and expanding. Another major outcome from the classical period is the architecture, which is still being copied to this day.
