Classical Greek art and architecture had many influences on later cultures and in the modern world. The ancient Greeks developed the three orders of arrangements of architecture that later cultures used and we even use today. The three orders are called the Doric order, the Ionic order and Corinthian order. Figure 3.2 in the textbook shows a diagram of the three orders.
