Islam is a monotheistic faith and is the world's second largest religion second to Christianity. Islam in an Arabic word means submission. The word Islam is derived from the word Salom meaning peace and the word Muslim is related to the work Islam meaning "one who surrenders" or submits to God. The followers of the Islamic faith are called Muslims and they believe that Muhammad in known as the prophet along with Abraham, Moses and Jesus.
