Examining Government Regulations

Government regulates human services eligibility for homeless persons. A number of rules, standards and regulations apply to those seeking to qualify for services. U.S. Title 42, Chapter 119 defines a homeless person as someone who does not have a regular, adequate nighttime residence, or a person who has a nighttime residence which is publicly or privately operated and intended to be a place for temporary living accommodations. Funds are limited for service extension under the Congressional Budget and Impoundment Control Act of 1974.
