What was its influence on the Constitution?

Magna Carta

In June of 1215 the signing of The Magna Carta began with the barons of King John and Medieval England. The title translates to Great Charter. The charter was a series of printed promises between the subjects and the King. The charter stated the king would govern the people according to feudal law. The charter assisted in stopping King John's abuse of power with the People of England (History Learning, 2012).
