COMMUNITY HEALTH NURSING

Prior to becoming a nurse five years ago I didn't really give much thought to the community that surrounded me. I independently went about my daily life without really considering my neighbors or municipality and I certainly wasn't geared towards thinking about how I can give back to the community. It wasn't until I began working in a local hospital that I started to contemplate the community and those I serve not only within the confines of the brick and mortar but far beyond.
