Yes I think companies do benefit from it substantially. It does save tme and access and storage of information is much easier. Again though a system is only as good as those inputting the information. I fight this problem all the time with employees rushing what they are doing and documenting information under the wrong patient. Sometimes we may have 4 Mike Smith and so you have to look at birthdate and residence. Sounds simple but it amazes me and how many screw this up.
