This article is about a study to determine how much relation there is between low-income children and obesity. Families in the Family Health Program were evaluated to see how many of their children ages 5-8 had obesity, and in this case children at age 7 were the most prevalent. Overall, children with obesity or that were overweight had parents who had not realized that their child was overweight, which may be adding to the obesity epidemic.
