If the patient is looking for a lethal dose of something, then if its illegal in that state or country then no I don't think the doctor is required to abide by all of the patient's needs. If the patient desires hospice then yes the doctor could help that patient get on hospice and the nurses and doctors through hospice could regulate the type of medication that patient receives by the amount of pain or dISCOMfort her or she is in. I think euthanasia should not be allowed because for one it is illegal and for two, I think it is unethical.
