HCS 301 My Goal's in Life

**Essay Excerpt***

My goal's in life is something as a child I always have tried to envision. Figuring out what to be in life, what to do and how to get there to make it happen. Adulthood is the time to establish goals to make one's dreams come true or establish that career that one always wanted.

Goals have many meanings, according to the dictionary there are three meaning to the word. The first meaning the result or achievement toward which effort is directed; aim. The second meaning is terminal point in a race. Last, the third meaning a pole, line, or area to score a point or points. These meaning pertains to my personal and professional goals that I have set. I look at goals as the destination and the barriers or milestones as mile markers. Therefore, there are four goals I am going to discuss about consisting of short-long term. I believe I must first have my personal goals in order or it could affect my professional goals.

To ensure that ones goals in life pan out, it takes many steps and years to overcome the obstacles that come in between one's goals. To have a successful career one has to put in the time and energy to attain it. To be in the right path of one's long-term goal, they have to make short-term goals that will lead to the long-term goal.
