Medical Assistant

 As a medical assistant, I will do everything I can to assist the patient; however, I will be aware of the scope of my job responsibilities, and try not to over step my boundaries by offering medical advice. Axia College (2011) states that, it is imperative to try to remain within the parameters of what the job entails. The patient shows obvious signs of stress and anxiety, so I would approach the situation by speaking calmly and assertively as I ask him the reason he was so upset.
