As technology advances it is only natural that the medical field would be at the top of these advances. Electronic medical record is used to convert paper medical records to electronic-based medical records. This technology facilitates the sharing of information between health care professionals as well as it preserves the integrity of patients' information. It will ultimately makes health information more accessible to doctors and patients, thus reducing most dangerous medical errors.
