In the healthcare field, there are many procedures that take place on a daily basis. Some of the procedures are complex and detailed while others are not. Simple procedures are typically outpatient that only takes a short time to perform. Once they are done, a patient can comfortably leave the hospital. For procedures that are more in depth and have risks and side effects, the patient is required to be hospitalized so that they can recover under the assistance of health care professionals.
