Some principals that I will most likely continue to use as I further my career choice in healthcare would be that of budgeting, cost, and control. Since my current career path includes that of healthcare administration, I believe that budgeting is going to play an important part in most everything that I will be doing. Budgeting within this role can be used when controlling costs of a department and as a way of knowing what would be considered as acceptable costs for the organization. For example, if I was working in a small assisted living facility it would probably be acceptable to budget in costs for food expenses and cleaning supplies but it not be acceptable to figure in the costs for a hot tub since most of the residents would probably not use it and there would be no legitimate...
