Melanoma

 Of the three stages of skin cancer, Melanoma is the most dangerous type. If caught early enough, melanoma is curable; but if it is left untreated melanoma can spread to other parts of the body.

Causes and Risk Factors:

Overexposure from the sun is a major cause

People with fair skin are at high risk

Having more than 50 moles increases risk

Inherited factors and family history
