Describe at least two factors that influence patient communication. Which do you feel is most substantial or problematic? Explain.

Some of the factors that influence patient communication are patient disposition and race. Each influence has a great effect on the total outcome of the doctor patient interaction which predominantly affects the ultimate goal which is the best treatment(s) possible.

A patient's disposition will determine their views and effectiveness in cooperating with the medical professionals in deciding the best treatment options. With that said a patient's disposition can also have negative effects to a patient having a predisposed agenda against medical professionals or they may be discouraged because of the lack of knowledge of the discussion.
