Week 1

DQ1: I have used flash cards when I took medical terminology in junior college. This helped me a lot. I remember a lot of the prefix meanings and suffixes. I do still get confused and having the book in front of me helps, but the more I study and use these words the meanings stick in my head for the prefixes and suffixes.

Week 3

DQ1:

Dr. Mooney: Mr. Torso was fortunate in that he was shot in the superior origin of his heart and survived.

Dr. Butts: I agree because Mr. Torso was shot in the elbow, proximal to his wrist. However, it was most unfortunate that fragments of the bullet were found in the left lower quadrant from the impact.
