The automotive industry and the banking industry collapsed around the same time. Now, we are starting to see those same markets start to rekindle, but they are still shaky. The gross Domestic product was just over 14 trillion dollars.(United States Department of Labor) It means that we are starting to increase what we make, but we are still importing a major amount of goods from other goods and the national debt is still climbing causing inflation to continually grow. The United States is still not out of the woods when comes to this recession. It is just a matter of time until something else causing another down turn in the economy, but with smart policy planning we can eliminate some of the potential damage caused.
