Introduction The economic trend health care payment systems involve both patients and health care personnel. Although there are several dynamics that can influence the effects on the trends of health care payment systems, I will focus on the rising cost of heath care, the poor patient outcomes, and the imminent shortage of healthcare personnel.
Payment systems can affect both staffing and the community being served by the healthcare. Also, the payment system can have an adverse impact on the economy under which the community is surviving.
