The Federal Reserve System is a body controlled by the government that acts as the government's central bank with the job of managing the monetary policies controlled by the government ("Frb",2014). Below the Federal Reserve will be explained from a government regulation standpoint and also a functionality standpoint. We will take a look at how the Federal Reserve policies affect the financial market, institutions, and the impact that it has on interest rates as well.
