Healthcare problem As a nurse, you often ponder late, late at night oh geez, why did I sign up for this? This isnt natural. Also, what is the big deal over working 12 hours at a time? It is certainly harrowing how the long work hours seem to make the night last forever. Is there a correlation with staff safety issues and staff health increasing with night shift versus day shift? Its positively difficult to stay awake certain hours much less have the stamina to continue providing efficient patient care.
