When someone mentions the word race or ethnicity to me, I realize they are talking about the differences between people. The race of someone can be American, Russian, Mexican or a number of different ones. The world is made up of many different races who try to co-exist with each other and is based on what country they are from. Ethnicity is a little different, it describes an entire race as one, such as Mexicans, Cubans, and Brazilians and so forth are considered Latinos or Hispanics. This describes a larger portion of the world and affiliates them together as being similar.
