A1-Purpose and Overview The purpose of the consultation with the clinical nurse leader was to gather and assess current departmental Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) scores and compare them with current nursing policies, procedures, and processes within the hospital to assist in a recommendation for an appropriate intervention to improve overall patient outcomes and safety.
