Wilkinson, in my opinion, hit the bulls-eye as far as depicting his subject, Grohl. He captured an interesting topic, Grohl, and provided a very distinctive and interesting angle about the man, his music. The author vividly described Grohl to his readers in such a way as to allow his audience to visualize him. For example, on the page 622, in the first paragraph, Wilkinson draws a vivid picture of the musician. He points out his long black hair, ability to play several musical instruments, and sings. How Grohl began his music involvement was interesting background information that added necessary details to assist in completing the overall picture of Grohl.
