Based on Welander's (2010) article, what intellectual property issues must you be concerned about as a technical writer?

The intellectual property issue that a technical writer should be concerned with is to make sure that they protect the intellectual property of the company they are working for. Another is to make sure they have the proper permission to uses the intellectual property (Peherson,2009).

In what situations do most intellectual property violations occur for the technical writer? Why?

One situation of intellectual property violation could occur for the technical writer I not accurately citing or flat out forgetting to cite a source. If the writer is in a hurry to meet a deadline this could cause the writer to not completely check...
