Childhood obesity is a massive problem in the world. It is a problem that is only getting worse as the years go by. American Academy of Child & Adolescent Psychiatry states that "between sixteen and thirty-three percent of children and adolescence are obese" (2008). This number is already causing dramatic changes in our world, but they are getting worse. There are many factors thrown around as to what causes childhood obesity. The issues at hand may all play a factor in childhood obesity; one of importance would be what the children are taught by their parents.
