Preschool is the core of early literacy development in students. In the article that I chose preschool classrooms were investigated to determine which quality is related to children's literacy development. There were four findings that were found about students that are at-risk, are affected by low-income communities, those who scored above the 50th percentile and below it. The quality of the literacy environment quality and the students' literacy abilities go hand in hand. The different classrooms that the students are in also play a part in the students' early literacy development.
