I felt a little overwhelmed with having to learn all of these concepts at once. I do not remember learning some of the terms in elementary school; my mother said that I was not taught phonics in school. I went to a catholic school which I was doing third grade work in first grade and was not taught a foundation for reading. I am grateful for this class so that I can teach my students the correct way and also learn the terms and concepts that I am not aware of. I believe...
