Monday:

Introduce the title, author, and illustrator of Brown Bear, Brown Bear, What do you see? I will ask the kids to look at the cover and ask them what they see. I will ask them what might a brown bear see where he lives. I will show them the cover and ask them what colors they see. I will ask them to think about the colors that the bear is going to see. If there are any colors that are not realistic I will ask the students if it's appropriate and what color might the animal really be.

Tuesday:

I will reread the story again to the students, for phoneme discrimination I will ask if the animals have the same beginning sound:
