This article takes an in-depth look on how a student's academic achievement is presented by their own perceptions and attitudes towards learning. The article also indentifies the roles teachers play in the development of student learning and student achievement in the classroom environment. The lack of student learning and involvement can be contributed to the low expectations presented by the teachers and the student which causes both not to be fully invested in the learning environment.
