How Tall are Plants?

In this activity the students have an opportunity to measure real plants. I would use plants from the classroom that the students have helped take care of. In order to do this classroom management would have to include prior participation with students and caring for the plants. The classroom must have areas that the students can work in small groups to complete the activity. Also to limit the amount of distractions and "wait time" materials for the activity must be prepared ahead of time and easily accessible for students to use.
