The numbers are growing where school-aged children experience bullying at some point during their school years. Some children may be chronic victims or bullies themselves. As professionals who work with young adults, we should have a better understanding of bullying and what we can do to both prevent it and intervene when it occurs. This repeated aggressive behavior is intended to hurt another person physically or mentally. The power to gain over other individuals is what makes the intimidator to behave in a particular way to harm others.
