One issue plaguing today's economic growth is data security. While the majority of businesses today take immense steps to secure their data, with new software come new breeds of hackers waiting to get a hold of your information. Recently, Global Payments, a third party credit card transaction processing business was hacked. Without releasing any detailed statements, it has been predicted that several pieces of customer information from all of major card companies has been compromised. Global Systems is taking all of the necessary steps to try and combat this issue, but at this time, the true extent of the damage is still unknown.
