Based on some recently released numbers, it appears that Americans' income is finally on the rise for the first year since the economic downturn. While this is a great sign of economic growth and recovery for our nation, there is a catch-the majority of this increase was achieved by the wealthy. "Taxpayers earning more than 250,000 saw their total adjusted gross incomes rise by 13.8%, while those bringing home between 200K and 250K enjoyed a 6.7% increase" according to a CNNMoney analysis. Meanwhile, middle-class Americans making between 50K and 100K saw a 1.5% increase. While any increase can be considered beneficial, this is just another example of the great divide between the 1% and the other 99% in today's...
