"In 2013, the market for solar panel systems reached a value of 12 billion dollars with average annual growth rates exceeding 50%.The U.S. Energy Information Administration reports that federal funding for solar power increased 530%, from 179 million to billion dollars, between the years of 2007 to 2010" (Reddix, 2014). In giving advice to my neighbor Cindy who desires to start a contracting business, it would be wise if she looks at the economy of solar panels.
