Children definitely learn different than I did growing up. It was not too long ago that I graduated High School and the way children communicate and interact is a lot different than I can recall. Today I notice children relying a lot on the internet and quick references to complete assignments. I feel that children dont retain as much information as they once did because they know that they can find it quickly. I would like teach children to research and find information through reading books and articles. I would like to see children reading and retain information with a purpose not just to take a test. Children are not forced to think or actively use their minds. When children dont actively use their mind to think about things verses being handed the answer their minds...
