How do you see this being applied in your workplace Over the last 8 to 10 years this has increased so much. Almost everything we do at our facility is no longer just what the policy says. It needs to be backed up by evidence based research. We have updated all procedures and policies to reflect evidenced based research recommendations. There are some hospitals that are at the forefront of research that are our go to sites for cutting edge information on evidence based research, such as Institute for Health care Improvements (IHI)and John Hopkins.
