Change is always good. Ford Motor needed this change. I believe it was a must for company this old. Tony Brown saw what nobody else saw. He saw that many suppliers were making the company waste plenty of money. When people have so many years doing the same, they become accustomed to it. Ford had years applying the same strategies and now it was time for a change. It was a point in the companys career to adjust the suppliers relationships. In addition, it was costing Ford Motors of money to have so many suppliers.
