Analysis I believe that the aim of wise and biblical counseling is to glorify God through our spiritual counsel of our clients. God is most glorified in us when we are most satisfied in him, and if the universal human experience of suffering threatens to undercut our faith, then our conversations with our clients must aim to help us become satisfied in God while suffering. Moreover, we must help clients count suffering as part of why we should be satisfied in God.
