Nursing Philosophy As a nurse there are many roles, we as nurses must incorporate in our jobs. The Nursing Programs Conceptual Model describes three of these roles. Nurses must be a detective, a scientist, and a manager of the healing environment. These roles are deep seeded in every nurse and ensures that the patient remains in the center of their care (Western Governors University, 2013).
