The book Here I Stand: A Life of Martin Luther by Roland H. Bainton highlights the struggles Luther underwent with his own faith. The first half of the book makes the reader to be emotionally drawn to this spiritual struggle. Dividing the story into two halves makes it easier for the reader to understand what Bainton was trying to put across (Bainton, 1977). His theological highlights in the context of Luther's struggle have been perfectly integrated in the story. For instance, page 3 of the book gives a description of God's attitude towards forgiveness.
