Abstract

Relaying on the criminal justice system to handle juveniles that are at risk offenders today have increased over the years. With all of the studies that have been done there is still more work that needs to be done, more intervention programs that can be used that will help these kids to become productive citizens. Many of the interventions and remedy methods that have been used have shown to be successful, but research still show that more can be done. Most of those juvenile youth offenders that have mental issues, drug problems, behavior problems, and those with the high rate of dropping out of school, they are the ones that have been expose to some type of trauma...
