Criminal Courts and Sentencing Goal A High-Profile Case that happen within the states I chose was the Vincent Brothers Trial here in my local City of Bakersfield, Ca. Vincent Brothers was a mass murder who was convicted of killing his wife, their three children and his mother-in-law. Brother who was the former vice principal of John C. Fremont Elementary School in Bakersfield, Ca. Vincent Brothers was convicted and found guilty of killing his wife their new baby, two toddlers and his mother-in-law on July 6, 2003.
