Dispositions are values, professional ethics, and commitments that counselors must incorporate into the counseling relationship (GCU 2020). School counselors who practice these dispositions will establish professionalism in the workplace with supporting the needs for their clients. As a future licensed school counselor, it is essential that I keep in consideration and display these characteristics throughout my professional career.
