Abstract

All projects require some kind of planning and execution strategy to provide a satisfactory product, whether that project is a science project, construction project, or in the case of this project, a business-oriented project. Successful planning makes use of checklists relative to the nine project management knowledge areas: project integration, scope, time management, costs, quality, human resources, communications, risk management, and project procurement (purchases) management (Center for Advanced Technologies, n.d.).
