Introduction.

In Part 1 of this assignment, a reading comprehension assessment was administered, and a result analysis was conducted. From that data, it was determined that the areas of concern centered within Vocabulary (VOC), Comprehension Informational Test (INFO), and Comprehension Literature (LIT). Table 1 below shows the assessment placement representation as to Phonological Awareness, Phonics, High Frequency Words, Vocabulary, Comprehension Literature and Comprehension Information Test. Students were below the national average in both comprehension categories and vocabulary placement.
