I feel that the caseworkers were not in depth with their visits what they should have done was interview the children in the home. The caseworkers should have came to the homes on a regular basis continually and speaking with each child to assess how they are doing both physically and mentally. The family could have intentionally kept the children away from the caseworkers and those that visited the home, therefore making it impossible for their conditions to be known to the public.
